Gym Commitment Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction, to use Gym Commitment.

If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the app.

2. Nature of the Service

Gym Commitment is a training log. The app helps you start and finish gym sessions, log exercises and sets, follow or build routines, review your progress and reports, attach optional photos or videos, track weight entries, use reminders, and set an optional weekly goal.

It also shows exercise clips and form tips, and it can receive plans and reports from an AI assistant you connect.

The service is designed for personal fitness tracking, habit building, and general wellness purposes only.

3. Not Medical Advice

Gym Commitment is for general fitness. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.

Everything the app shows you is general training information, for guidance only: plans, form tips, exercise clips, reports and starting weights, including plans and reports written by an AI assistant you connect. None of it is medical, physiotherapy or nutrition advice, and no one at Gym Commitment has seen you train or knows your health.

An AI assistant you connect is run by its maker, not by us. We ask it to follow our rules, but it can still be wrong. Read a plan before you follow it, and change or skip anything that does not suit you.

If you have a medical condition or an injury, are pregnant, or have been told to limit exercise, talk to a doctor or other qualified professional before you start or change a program. If something hurts, or you feel chest pain, dizziness, faintness or shortness of breath, stop.

4. Training Is at Your Own Risk

Exercise, including lifting weights, carries a risk of injury. You decide what you do, how much you lift and when you stop, and you take on that risk when you train. That is true whether a plan comes from the app, from an AI assistant you connect, from a friend or trainer, or from you.

Warm up, use equipment safely and within its limits, and train within what your body can handle. If you are unsure how to do an exercise, ask a qualified trainer.

5. Your Content

You may create or store content in the app, including session records, tags, notes, photos, videos, weight entries, preferences, and backup data.

You retain ownership of your content. By using Gym Commitment, you grant us the limited rights needed to operate, display, store, process, back up, restore, and support the app features you choose to use.

You are responsible for the content you add. Do not use the app to create, store, or share content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, threatening, or violates another person's rights.

6. Accounts, Backups, and Device Data

Certain features may depend on your device, app store account, iCloud, Google Drive, Google Sign-In, or other services you choose to connect.

If you enable backup or restore features, you are responsible for maintaining access to the cloud account or storage location used for that backup.

We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, deletion, interrupted backups, unavailable third-party services, or loss of access to your cloud account.

7. Payments

Some features may be offered as paid features or subscriptions in the future. If you purchase a paid feature, pricing and billing terms will be shown at the time of purchase.

Payments, refunds, renewals, and cancellations may be handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not control those third-party billing systems.

8. Intellectual Property

Gym Commitment, including its name, design, software, interface, graphics, text, branding, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the app or website unless we give written permission or the law allows it.

9. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use Gym Commitment for unlawful purposes, interfere with security features, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, disrupt the service, extract source code, misuse backups or connected services, or use the app in a way that harms others.

Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of access where applicable.

10. Privacy

Your use of Gym Commitment is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how workout content such as photos, videos, notes, and weight entries is handled.

11. No Warranty

Gym Commitment is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep plans, form tips, clips, starting weights and reports accurate and useful, but we do not promise that they are complete, without mistakes or right for you, or that the app will always work. Targets and starting weights are a place to start, not a promise of results.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Gym Commitment and its owners, operators and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits.

To the same extent, we are not liable for injury, illness or loss that comes from a workout, an exercise, a weight or a plan you choose to do, including a plan written by an AI assistant you connect.

Some places, including the United Kingdom, the European Union and Quebec, do not let a business exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by its own negligence, or take away other consumer rights. If you live in one of them, these limits apply only as far as your law allows, and you keep those rights. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

13. Termination

You may stop using Gym Commitment at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the service if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if the service is discontinued.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date or last updated date.

Continued use of Gym Commitment after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute goes to the courts of India. If the consumer law where you live gives you the right to rely on your local law or to go to your local courts, you keep that right.
