Gym Commitment Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction, to use Gym Commitment.

If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the app.

2. Nature of the Service

Gym Commitment is a fitness commitment tracker. The app helps you set a weekly training target, check in and check out of gym sessions, track your session history, attach optional photos or videos, view progress, track weight entries, use reminders, and review your commitment score.

The service is designed for personal fitness tracking, habit building, and general wellness purposes only.

3. Not Medical Advice

Gym Commitment does not provide medical, health, nutrition, diagnosis, treatment, or professional training advice.

Any information shown in the app is for general tracking and motivation only. You are responsible for deciding whether a workout, fitness routine, weight goal, or habit target is appropriate for you.

Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or changing an exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, or any concern about physical activity.

4. Your Content

You may create or store content in the app, including session records, tags, notes, photos, videos, weight entries, preferences, and backup data.

You retain ownership of your content. By using Gym Commitment, you grant us the limited rights needed to operate, display, store, process, back up, restore, and support the app features you choose to use.

You are responsible for the content you add. Do not use the app to create, store, or share content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, threatening, or violates another person's rights.

5. Accounts, Backups, and Device Data

Certain features may depend on your device, app store account, iCloud, Google Drive, Google Sign-In, or other services you choose to connect.

If you enable backup or restore features, you are responsible for maintaining access to the cloud account or storage location used for that backup.

We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, deletion, interrupted backups, unavailable third-party services, or loss of access to your cloud account.

6. Payments

Some features may be offered as paid features or subscriptions in the future. If you purchase a paid feature, pricing and billing terms will be shown at the time of purchase.

Payments, refunds, renewals, and cancellations may be handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not control those third-party billing systems.

7. Intellectual Property

Gym Commitment, including its name, design, software, interface, graphics, text, branding, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the app or website unless we give written permission or the law allows it.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use Gym Commitment for unlawful purposes, interfere with security features, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, disrupt the service, extract source code, misuse backups or connected services, or use the app in a way that harms others.

Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of access where applicable.

9. Privacy

Your use of Gym Commitment is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how workout content such as photos, videos, notes, and weight entries is handled.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Gym Commitment is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, always available, or that it will meet your expectations.

Your use of the app is at your own risk. You are responsible for your workouts, training decisions, device, backups, and data management.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gym Commitment and its owners, operators, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, physical injury, or damages arising from use or inability to use the app.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

12. Termination

You may stop using Gym Commitment at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the service if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if the service is discontinued.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date or last updated date.

Continued use of Gym Commitment after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Gym Commitment is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
